Here is my inside knowledge of the City of Angles. How to live it up in LA. Los Angeles, or as some like to call it, LA, we love it! Weather, Movie Stars, Beverly Hills, and so much more. My take on living it up in this iconic Californian destination.
Begin in chic Riviera style Viceroy at the Avec Nous restaurant for a Mediterranean-style breakfast. After breakfast, head for the hotel spa and try one of their signature facials, guaranteed to leave you feeling relaxed with a glow. Afterward, please stop by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA); it’s one of the largest of its kind in the West. You can stroll through the iconic Urban Light and appreciate art from all around the world.
Lunch, a must, is either Ray & Stark bar at the museum or Republique and feast on some midday steak fries. Then, of course, you can’t go to LA and not shop along with one of the trendiest streets, local boutiques, and international brands, from home goods, vintage bikes, designer fashion, and jewelry. At last, top it off with a scoop of ice cream from Salt & Straw, then take a stroll on the famous Venice Beach, stop by the Bungalow at the Fairmont Miramar and enjoy a nice cool cocktail while taking in the view of the Pacific Ocean.
Back at the hotel, chill before dinner at Olivetta in West Hollywood. Enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, and before winding down for the evening, top it off with wine from an extensive Italian California wine list.
