Six tips to make the most of your Miami vacation.

Miami is no doubt a vacation hotspot for anyone wanting a relaxing beach escape. But, while its glistening waters and soft, sandy beaches may take your breath away, exploring off the shore and stepping into new nightlife, authentic cuisines, and unique culture may be the icing on the cake. Boasting with flavor and experiences, enjoy all the assorted flavors of the culture of Miami; it has so many other things to offer from sightseeing, beautiful beaches, and fantastic food with many different options to satisfy what you are looking for in a getaway!

  1. There are many different adventures for everyone. If you love to shop, I had a wonderful time visiting the Lincoln Road Mall. You can also rent bikes and ride on the boardwalk. (If you’re looking for places to shop, read,

  2. Try the restaurants the locals eat in! Stay away from the tourist trap eateries and ask around. Also, safety in numbers! Research nightlife before you go out. And enjoy the emerald waters!

  3. Be open to experience more than just South Beach! Miami is a city rich in culture. There are many neighborhoods to explore off the beach! Drive off the coast and take a walking self-guided tour of the Wynwood arts district of Little Havana. Don’t be afraid to explore the city; however, always remember to remain safe.

  4. Spend an afternoon/night and visit the Bayside Marketplace. You can shop low to high-end items/trinkets, variety of food choices, jump on a boat tour or enjoy a walk off the water all in one place!

  5. My #1 travel tip would be to don’t forget your sunscreen. The beaches are enjoyable in the day and romantic at night; Its nightlife is electrifying with exquisite dining and dancing. It’s a fun party town.

  6. Miami is electric and fantastic; however, not every hotel fits every traveler’s needs. There is a vast difference between South Beach, Miami Beach, and North Miami Beach. And be aware of the heavy traffic in that area. Always allow extra time when quoting distances.

Whatever your interests, Miami is a city fit for any traveler. Hopefully, my tips will help you plan an unforgettable vacation and keep you coming back for more to this vibrant city.
